Prologue

On doorways.

This book is the treatise of Conciliatorics. It is a living document, not a closed one: the core of the philosophical parcel is in place; other parcels, and further developments of this one, remain open on purpose. The argument begins in the next chapter. What follows here is only how to enter.

The text will not travel in prose alone. Compact notation, diagrams, and structured records will appear beside the discursive line, each doing a job the others cannot. None of that is ornament. A willing reader is assumed — someone already curious enough to step in. The book does not recruit.

Terms are bounded because the work is reconciliation, not a survey of all systems thought. Tables and equations are part of the same path as the paragraphs.

The last pages of the volume are an epilogue, a summary of the joints, and two glossaries in the old style. They are there for the reader who wants a way out, or a way to look something up, without leaving the book.
